Freebie! This plant is 4 or 5 years old and was a seedling in one of the surrounding day lily pots I bought. I almost threw it out thinking it was a weed but decided to let it grow and see what happens. Its always grown to 2+ feet tall then last year it grew to over 3+ feet with a few smaller shoots. This year it grew to 6 feet! Just a spectacular specimen. I would like to move it to a more eye catching location but would like more information before I do. I'm very fond of this plant as its one of the first plants I've grown from seed. Please help me identify it. Like I said I think it's some kind of Asiatic Lilly but I've never seen one this tall.

It is indeed an Asiatic hybrid (not Lilium regale). Certain cultivars can get very tall.
