It is very small and I have found a few of these dead around the house lately. Is this a termite?

This is a lacewing, it appears to be a brown lacewing (family Hemerobiidae). These are beneficial, feeding on aphids, small caterpillars, and other small, soft-bodied insects. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hemerobiidae
