This is my one and only photo. We saw this while in the car and someone called out "Kestrel!" Looking closer, I am not quite sure, but then this is what I have... I totally understand if this cannot be positively identified as anything other than a bird that caught its prey. :)

I'd be happy with American Kestrel for that. It is carrying a rodent of some sort.
