Plant Identification: Malius ? species from Sunnyvale, pl help in ID

Unlikely to be identifiable to a particular species, crabapples in cultivation are a complete mess of hybrid cultivars. If you can get some pictures in the spring as the buds swell then open that might help. Also, are the leaves colorful in the fall? Many varieties are sort of blah, but some are brighter yellow or orange.
