    This seems to be a species of Malus with about 1 cm across reddish fruits and nearly rounded leaves. Pl help in IID.

    Yep, Malus. Unlikely to be identifiable to a particular species, crabapples in cultivation are a complete mess of hybrid cultivars.

    And so many different varieties, mostly grown for flower show. If you can get some pictures in the spring as the buds swell then open that might help.

    Also, are the leaves colorful in the fall? Many varieties are sort of blah, but some are brighter yellow or orange.
