    Can you post some slightly different pictures?
    Cut off or isolate a branch against a neutral background (not green) so that the shape and attachment of the leaves is more obvious. If the leaves are different, even on the same plant, a couple of pictures might help.
    Are those flower buds or fruit in one of the pictures? Can we get a close up of those?
    Is the plant in the first picture the same as the plant in the second?
    What sort of climate are you in? Are you in the more tropical parts of Mexico? Or one of the areas that gets colder in the winter?

    This is an Malvaceae of small yellow flowers, appeared spontaneously in the yard.

    Guzmania- you don't have your zone and area of Mexico posted so we can narrow down some plants are very regional. Can you go to your member page and give us your zone and region of Mexico? please
