I appreciate the info as I might not have looked into it further. It is in my mom's yard so I cannot cut it down, but i will not plant one in my yard. When she passes away I will do my best to get rid of it.

YAY! Another convert. Truth, justice and the American way, etc. Seriously, now, thank you for reading and for thinking. I appreciate it. I need to cut the one down which we have in Boston again--it grew back.
