I live in North Carolina, near Raleigh. It's a 125 year old home and I have so many plants in the back yard that I do not know what they are. Could someone please help me identify this one.

It's blooming, has been for about 2 weeks now. The flowers almost smell like citrus (lemons). I think it's a shrub that has been groomed to be a tree. I've taken a close up of the leaves with a flower and a couple of distant shots. Any help in identifying this plant would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, in advance for your time and help!
