Looks like Cistus x hybridus http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/69102/

Rolesville, NC(Zone 7b)

Wow, I have a Cistus and I didn't even think of that.

The yellow flower centre shape and the leaves look different to me?

To me it looks the same. It could be 'Elma'

How could I have doubted you?
Thank you all for your help with 'White Rock Rose'

I want you to doubt me. Makes for a more accurate id. The leaves look right for hybridus. They should be a bit sticky to the touch.

OK
