The fat-candled plant is growing in entrance planter at Park La Brea in Los Angeles. Nice orange candles. Please help identify it. Thanks.

Thanks Ratchell, yes, it looks like Aloe ferox. I learned that ferox means fierce, referring to the spiny foliage.
