Leaves are wine-red, like the color of the roselle plant. I think it must be related to the globe amaranth - has white 1/2 inch "balls" - blooming now. Plant gets leggy, but is pretty when kept trimmed. It must reseed, since almost every pot I have now has this plant in it. We're in Central FL - zone 9B.
