I see a few of these in my neighborhood and don't know what tree it comes from. The seed reminds me of a spice. I have thought in years passed of sprouting and growing them. But if I don't know what it is...
The seed is 3/8" long in case that helps any.

A Russian Olive? Great! I did a google search but my keywords were very broad, but I still had high hopes. Thanks a lot Guy.
