    Hi,

    Found this plant growing really nicely at a higher elevation place here.

    Wonder if it will grow well in lowland places as well.

    Hope you can help me to identify this plant.

    The leaves remind me of Impatiens. A close-up of the bloom, stem, etc would help.

    I think it's an Acanthaceae. Could be Peristrophe speciosa?

    The photo in DG PlantfFile you pointed out looks like Peristrophe roxburghiana as well.

    Thanks Stephanie. That means that the pic for P speciosa in plant files is incorrect...it is a pic of P roxburghiana. Thanks for the confirmation.
