Roasted radishes this year as I had a surplus...yum! I added them to a roasted beet salad with arugula and Gorgonzola. Also good as a side dish, mellow flavor and potato like. Would be good in a root veg stew also!
That's a great tip! I'll plant more radishes this year... they're such fun to grow, but I've only ever eaten them fresh, and much as I love radish sandwiches (sliced thin, with a little butter) there's a limit to how many I figure I can eat.
