    Can someone identify this for me? Sorry for poor pictures. Bug has been spotted inside and outside the house. Inside it's been seen on floor, lampshade, furniture near windows.

    Looks like a brown marmorated stink bug, Halyomorpha halys - an introduced pest species

    Oh yeah, that's the one! Thanks too for the Ohio State link. I'll try and call our extension office tomorrow --- if they're still there. Their website says they are trying to raise money or they'll be closing this month.
    Yikes. Pretty soon we'll have a casino with tax deferments on every corner but nobody to run the city and county and state.
    I'll get off my soapbox now and just say thanks, again, for the ID.
