    New to us garden plant: Dark green, single stem, thin dark green whorled leaves with white center. Tallest one now is 24", and there are several smaller ones. No flowers present in January in PNW (Seattle WA).

    Looks like Euphorbia lathyris. Be careful as this plant produces a latex sap that can cause skin irritation.

    Can become very weedy in PNW. It's called a Gopher plant/spurge because the gophers hit the roots, the sap is very irritating and they stop digging in that direction.
    Here's a pic of one that obviously self-seeded infront of a warehouse amongst the azaleas.
