I found this little guy in a store yesterday and just had to buy it, never seen a dwarf Xmas Cactus before. I tried to google it but had no luck. Anyone familiar with these? The leaves and flowers are nearly half the size of the regular ones.

Yes, you're right, thanks! just realized all my plants but one are Thanksgiving cacti. For some reason that Xmas one never bloomed for me. And a slow grower too.

How adorable, which store did you get it in? Maybe you could ask them where they got them and then you can contact the wholesaler. I will do it if you tell me who it is? I sell them and I can always say I am looking for something new. LOL Not really a fib, but I would love to see what they are called.

Here is what the tag says: Grown by SFC, COLUMBIA STATION, OH 44028. Sold by our local grocery store Marc's, a terrific place to find interesting and unexpected staff and plants too. What is surprising I couldn't find any info on dwarf Schlumbergera anywhere. Maybe there is no such thing at all and it's just something wrong with my plant making the growth suppressed? it looks very healthy though and keeps blooming

Morning, I am hitting my head against a wall. I even googled the store and I did not know which one it was. Seems there are several Marc in Ohio. I was going to call them and talk to the buyer of plants. I am relentless. The guys on Cactiguide never heard of dwarf, mini, minature or any Schlumbergera Truncata but they will keep me posted. They could not tell by the pictures and seemed to think it was a regular size just not grown yet. I doubt that myself.
I am waiting to hear from a few wholesalers in the Columbus area. LOL

So sorry about the troubles, you're very adventurous though! Here is the store info:

I'll post another picture with some measurements. Time will definitely tell what size is it.

☺☺☺☺ If I see a plant I think will sell in my internet stores, I always try and check it out. This is fun considering I should be working on my income tax. LOL. Thanks for the info.
