    Not sure what this bush is, but it seems to need something more than I am giving it. Maybe mulch & vitamins. Thanks

    It looks like it's doing OK. Variegated plants normally grow more slowly than their plain green counterparts as they have less chlorophyll. A bit of mulch and balanced fertilizer might be beneficial but don't overdo either.

    That looks absolutely normal for a variegated Weigela florida - except for that black and yellow speckled thing. You should swat that.

    Except for some pruning for form (after flowering), it looks like you have a healthy plant there.

    Thanks everyone of you for sharing with me the idenity of my bush. In this picture it was at a healthy point of this bush,
    it didn't do too well this year. I will give my Weigela some mulch & some balanced fertilizer...
