I notice on your plant list, you have the sourwood, oxydendrun arboreum, for Dewey AZ. I thought this plant required an acid soil, which much of AZ does not have, My question is: How long has this been established in Dewey?

The area where the plant is listed as being in Dewey-humboldt was provided by a user. When reading the plant info, it allows users to add their area to the list by way of zip code. Perhaps the user was going on misinformation or perhaps they have a sourwood growing on their property with well amended soil.I do agree, the USDA plant info does not list it as growing in Arizona and the Univ of Arizona Cooperative Extension service has no info on it either.
