There's a 50% chance you may only get pollen cones - the species is dioecious

| One odd thing with Araucaria araucana around here is that in Vancouver it is mostly males whereas in an older city nearby they are mostly female. I even found one with both male and female cones. This, I can't explain. |

Yep, occasional monoecious individuals of Araucaria araucana do exist, but are very rare. I know of just one (pic below).
If Araucaria bidwillii is similar in this (haven't seen any data), then technically it's only a 49.9% chance you just get pollen cones.
