Embarrassed to say but not sure. I was given a lot of dried seed heads full of seeds by my new neighbor but did not move here early enough to see them in bloom. They are large seed heads, I can tell you that much. Sorry
We just moved to FL so unsure what we may have chatted about. I just got active on here again a few weeks ago. If we ever missed a trade a year or so ago you have a better memory than I and I apologize but do not live there anymore. Also, not sure I asked you a question ?? Perhaps I am missing something.
Sorry, I really thought I had missed something. lol We are zone 8b. My wife and I have introduced gardening to our son who is five and he is surprisingly into it. We have a blank slate really - the people that had this house before us thought a garden was grass and a box hedge so we can take just about anything. Our neighbor gave me a bunch of dried poppy seed heads and there is no way I can plant them all. Just thought I would see if anyone was interested in a trade. I never even thought to ask her color or variety. lol sorry for the confusion.
Shawn, got your pm with address and am sending out the following:
large flowered purple allium
clementine red columbine
single white columbine
winky rose columbine
Grew some of the columbine seeds last year with great results so you should have no problem getting them going !! Below is one of the ones I started from seed last year (didn't have a chance to get it in the ground last year so has been in the basement all winter--started growing again so brought it upstairs to get more light till spring). Good luck with the seeds and let me know when they arrive please!! Thanks . Shirley
