He will be 9 on the 21st. He is counting down the days. We were noticing the other day how big his hands are. Mine are a size 9 and they are almost as big as mine. He will more than likely be taller than daddy @ 6'1".
When im done painting, I have tile to install in 3 rooms. Remodeling the lower bath. Ripped off 1976 wallpaper and the glue needs to be sanded off the rest of the way. Then primed, because it never was. I ripped apart the bathroom the first weekend in January and havent touched it since :/ Good thing we have 2 other bathrooms :)
I have 3 bathrooms also, and had a company called Bath Fitters come in and do mine..Whatta pain you'll have getting that glue off..Try a heat gun with that glue remover stuff, still gonna be a hard job for you:(
Im just gonna take an orbital sander to it. I think it is old enough it will just come right off and not gum up from the heat.
I was able to scrape quite a bit off when I was removing wallpaper. A spray bottle with 1/4 liquid fabric softener and 3/4 water does wonders. Need a good scraper, but comes off real slick. Very little effort.
Ok, so I don't have to double post photos, which I have heard is kinda frowned upon, if you would go to "Parking Lot" and read under "Coffee and...African Treats...March 21st" I have posted some photos towards the bottom. If you want to look there and comment here, I don't mind.
Food...hmmm...some was kinda strange, so unadventurous as I am I stuck to what I knew. Had lots of fish and I don't "do" fish, SU said the beef was tough, the pork loin was ok. I had mostly chicken. Some veggies, but no salads due to the stuff probably being washed in unbottled water. Lots of fruit, I ate tons of fresh pineapple. Yum. So sweet and juicy.
You do not get water with your meal, only tea or coffee. Sooooo...if you want water, you buy it. Wish they would have told us that before..."oh, and another thing, water is not free with the meal". Jeez.
For some strange reason, this thread doesn't have the box where I can pick a pic file to send. any ideas why?? All it has at the bottom is "preview" and "send".
I made an effort to really take small portions...tastes, if you will. I overate once and I was MISERABLE, and it wasn't really that much more than what I usually had. Served me right, I tempered my plate-filling. One night I just had an avocado appetizer and a cup of soup. French onion. It was terrible, but I ate it anyway. LOL The appetizer was yummy, tho.
All I have below this box where I am typing are 2 boxes...one says "preview" and the other says "send". Is it just MY computer, or do yours have this too? No place to post a pic. BUT...just above those 2 little boxes it says
"You may upload up to 5 images. Press CTRL to select more than one image file". 'Tis a puzzlement.
Still have a pretty good snow pack. Supposed to be 50° today and tomorrow. Hopefully it will be gone soon. Its crazy how much dog "doodie" appears every day as the snow melts. Thats going to be a bigger project than the bathroom I think :/ Difficult to take care of when its frozen to the ground.
Is that a word? All I know is my head is all kitty-whompus on my spine. :/
Literally my head isnt on straight. Stupid car accident (a year ago). Had it reset again last night.
If you dont want that word, use Occipitus :)
I will look for your clippers this weekend. I will be starting work in the yard this afternoon.
You would think it would take care of it...I havent been able to hold an adjustment for more than an hour. However, these last two I've maintained for over 12 each. Promising. I was scheduled for a nerve "slice" today but have postponed. Recovery from the accident has taken WAY longer than expected or planned. But maybe with the season changing things will improve a little faster. I need my garden to heal.
Its called radio frequency ablasion. It actually burns the nerve, so it isnt permanent. up to 2 years of relief, depending on how quickly a persons nerves heal. I would just rather fix it than bandaid it. Being I am coaching 13yo's softball this year, I need it fixed. Not covered up.
I would love to go play in the dirt..but we are in a winter storm warning with an expected 5"-7" of snow by Thursday. Rain, sleet and snow between now & then with temps in the low 30's...Where is SPRING?!?!
I'd love some hot weather...it hasnt started yet...but will be here in the next few hours. Just in time for rush-hour.
Last week there was a major accident on the freeway. 16yo kid lost control, jumped the median and was hit head on by a semi...except he wasnt so much hit as he was run over. :( I thought it was a roll-over because the whole drivers side was smashed down to the seats. Turned out he went under the wheels and was driven over. He obviously lost his life, but I cant imagine how that semi driver feels. Had no control of the situation and now has to live with that...what a shame. There was about 3" of slush on the freeway - they hadnt plowed. Young driver, not enough experience. I drove up on it 15 minutes after and EMT's & PO's were standing around taking pictures. I knew at that point there was a fatality. So sad.
