The plant has red flowers and seems to loose its leaves when it flowers. I would like to know what the name of the plant is, so I can read how to get it to flower. It has flowered while I have had it, but its been years.

I don't think it looks like a Jatropha when I google it. As I remember it, it is from New Zealand!
