I would have liked to have seen some myself. Altho I do this with daylilies, I never knew people who did it with roses.

Here is one of mine. It is a Iceberg X First Prize seedling. Unfortunately it is very prone to mildew.

How fun. I had my first daylily seedling of the season open yesterday. I would say I do the most culling because of rust. They are so prone to it and I want only the most rust resistance. I guess its the black spot and mildew for the roses. This one will be culled because of its mungy color, not rust.

I think the rose and daylily look pretty, but I guess to be popular just pretty isn't enough they have to be healthy and spectacular coloring right? Still you both should be proud!
