Angela, good article! I share your passion for the beauty of the flowers, and the excitement for all the fruit that makes it past the insects! The closeups I "post" are reminders of why I keep pulling weeds, trimming, and always looking for the perfect plant that makes it through the seasons. Enjoy!
Thanks for the kind words! I can't imagine a spring without my flowers, or a summer without tomatoes, peppers, and beans, if nothing else. I think my husband would be just as happy with a rectangle of grass and nothing to mow around, but he's less critical now that the kids are old enough to take over most of the mowing. They like to poke around in the garden nearly as much as I do, so they don't object much to all the oddly shaped beds to mow around.
