I have several that I can 't name...the one I am mentioning now is "Jacob's Ladder". it grows aft. 12" tall and has blue/purple up and down each limb on it...I have tried to reset them in the shaded areas in my yards without any success...any ideas in replanting or the actual name.
I have no way of inputting a pic of it...sorry.

Try going to Plant Files here on Dave's Garden site and type in Jacob's Ladder.
    Jacob's Ladder
    Polemonium caeruleum
If that is not the correct plant, look at the other entries under Jacob's Ladder and see if it looks like any of those. If you know the common names of your plants you can ID quite a few of them that way. Once you know the actual name you can find more info on how to grow it.
