My friend found these bugs in her house last day or so, lathargic and near dying (from that i was told), found them near Firewood she has in her home. She thought they were cockroaches at first but, i told her from a laymans POV they didnt seem to be acting like Roaches, ie; scattering when light is turned on.

Can anyone give me a suggestion as to what these may be?

Thank you.

These are long-horned wood-boring beetles that likely emerged from your firewood. They will not infest/damage anything in your home.
