    Nel, I just went out and looked at my cat's claw vine - it DOES look like that - maybe someone will come along and give us a positive i.d. - Growin, WHERE ARE YOU?!

    The blooms posted by the o.p. have a funnel-shaped bloom, whereas Hibbertia seems to have a daisy-like center in the bloom.

    not always though...
    I cannot make out the center of the flower in the OP's photo; can you see any structure or detail?

    edit: to me, the flowers look symmetrical and the foliage is simple and opposite. The Macfadyenia would have asymmetrical flowers and compound foliage. My old eyes may not be serving me well here, so correct if you see differently.

    looks like a well with the 'stamens?' 3- rising to the top of the cup. like a trumpet, depth unknown
