I've had one shrub in my Seattle-area garden for nearly 20 years. Never seen a seedling - wish there were.

I've had Coral Ardisia in my Winter Springs, Florida garden for 38 years with hardly any spread. My property is oak hammock with very acid soil. Perhaps that makes a difference?
