SOLVED: Hardy Geranium?

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

I have always thought this is a hardy geranium. It comes back every year and spreads the ground profusely. Is it? Thanks for any info.

I think so from what I can see. Leaves look divided like on one I have.

(thanks for reminding me about that one- have to look for it)

Possibly Geranium sanguineum from the divided leaves and the look of the flowers.

Yep, guess it is the Geranium sanguineum. Thanks.
Do you happen to know if it is a monocot or dicot? I am guessing a dicot because of the five petals?

Think it is also clled cransbill (common name).

Thanks everyone. It is a dicot!

Here it is in the plant guide. Thanks everyone!
