Looks like daylilies to me. With that open growth pattern, it's probably naturalized Hemerocallis fulva.

Wow, hope it's something good, you have a lot of them! Sorry, I have no idea, but wanted to suggest standing aside next time you're taking pics, so your shadow isn't blocking the light. Good luck with your new garden!
