Funnel Web?

Blasdell, NY

I think it's too big to be a sheet web, though I have seen a lot of sheet-like webs. They may have been funnels though. And possibly not from this spider. Found in my basement. The first picture is for size reference.

Can't tell for certain, as the eye pattern is not clear - most likely a hacklemesh weaver (family Amaurobiidae), but a wolf spider (family Lycosidae) is another possibility. Neither are dangerous.
