Wonder how big it will get before it opens? I have had this plant for 4 or so years and this is its first bloom.

Someone Id'ed it for me a while back but I don't recall what it is. It is native and common in W. TX and has fairly thin leaves. The bloom is over 6 ft. tall at present.
