    Ok I am going to try this again the picture didn't show up in the last post.

    This is for Marcia Geiger's post above I can't post the piture in her post so maybe she can come here I will cut and paste her question from her post here.

    This mini, almost black daylily is about 3" across and 40" high,mid-late bloomer in zone 4/5- with heavy bud count; got it from neighbor lady who has had it for years. Any idea as to the name?

    There's something like 48,000 registered daylilies. It's a slim chance you'll ever find its given name. I have plenty of un-named ones myself. It's best to just enjoy them and not to fret over the lost name.

    I just got a small potion of plant from my neighbor, but will peek to see if she has cut back the plants. Marcia
