I shot this, this morning in the garden. On uploading it to PC, I found this blob. Someone asked on facebook where I just posted "Is it drinking water?" And I am also curious to know what this is doing. Anyone know?

Looks like a blow fly (Calliphoridae); may just be regurgitating...

Thanks Flap. I also read now that it was believed to 'blow eggs', hence 'blowfly'. But not sure if that belief is a fact. Regurgitating? Nice clear liquid, so round and hanging!
