Today in history: August 7
1840: Henry Perrine, American botanist was killed during an Indian raid in the Florida Keys, where he was planning a government-granted township for tropical plants.

I'm pretty sure its a bad idea to call a Native American an Indian. Unless India really invaded the country back then.
