Hello - I need some help. I am too squicked to get near this thing and I never ever thought it could be harmful until someone mentioned it to me. This time of year the spiders come into my house to escape the cool weather. it is not making me happy. I just want to know if this thing can hurt us. Thanks.

Image not large enough to be certain, but most likely a harmless male grass spider in the family Agelenidae -

Yes, that's exactly it. I didn't think it was harmful. It didn't hurt to check it out. I really wish they'd find somewhere else to hang out. Thank you!
