CLOSED: Very cool little guy...

Cross Timbers, MO(Zone 6a)

This interesting little guy was on the side of my house this morning. Never seen one quite like this before. Does anybody know who he is? It was 3/4 of an inch from top of head to tip of wing. In pic #1 you can't tell from the picture but his abdomen is curled up and over his head, if laid flat, it would be longer than the length of his wings and his hind legs reach back farther than his wings There would be no way to see him on the ground or in the brush. Sorry for the second pic being darker, it was taken a little later and it was in the shade.

Some type of Apatelodes maybe. He or she sure looks happy.

Not an Apatelodes - Looks more like it's in the family Crambidae - http://mothphotographersgroup.msstate.edu/species.php?hodges=5107
