Found this hiding in the Boot opening recess on my car (where you put your fingers to open the boot!) It didnt bite me. Was quite slow and easy to capture.

Doesnt look like the common "Door Mirror" spider I see a lot of. Wonder if its Steotoda Nobilis. Picture not good havnt got the knack of tiny photos but I still have the beast.

I'm in Brentwood, Essex UK.

It's a harmless orb weaver; looks like a Zygiella sp. - see http://warehouse1.indicia.org.uk/upload/p17glgfqreujc1ceno011e6p13cp9.jpg for an example.
