I saw this insect near my house .
The insect frequently hopped .

Looks like a Jumping Spider in the Family Salticidae.

Majmind, that is not an insect, it is a spider. It is one of the jumping spiders in the family Salticidae. Frequent hops are a feature of jumping spiders,
