I think it is Erythrina crista-galli

Ditto- got one in my yard.
They are somewhat variable as to flower color. (Mine is deeper red than this picture)

VERY aggressive backward curved thorns. Not large, but they grab my clothes whenever I am near it.

Rich flower show off and on all summer.
