I love French food. Of course I also like Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish etc.. You name it, I'll probably eat it. I can do without bugs or bird's nest soup though. I grew up on a farm so I've had cow's tongue. Makes great sandwiches.
Yes, I have had bovine tongue, but the only way I can really hack it is smoked, cooked, and cold on a rye bread sandwich with mustard. A beer would be good with it too. LOL Can't eat it hot. We always had it smoked, never fresh. I think that might be nasty. :>)
I've never had tongue, but I wouldn't be opposed to trying it. Now I'll know how to try it first; smoked and on a sandwich with mustard sounds reasonable to me. ;)
Counting Cars, a cool car show; owner of the shop is a biker and MAN he gets some nice rides in his shop!
Oh blueberry waffles are the best with Vermont maple syrup on them. Yummy!! I made some blueberry pancakes last weekend using quinoa. They were pretty good. Quinoa is an ancient grain that has the highest protein content of any grain. The recipe is on Dr. Oz's website.
