Hey, I saw one darner and one meadowhawk I'd like to identify more exactly. These were taken by some wetlands in southeast British Columbia. Thanks in advance for any help!!

These would be easier to i.d. (or at least narrow down choices) if you had taken a few hi-res still photos instead of videos. As these stand, I hesitate to say much...

Fair enough. Sorry, all I have is videos.

I am leaning towards Sympetrum pallipes (striped meadowhawk) for the second one.

For the darner I think either:
Aeshna eremita (lake darner)
Aeshna interrupta (variable darner)
Aeshna canadensis (Canada darner)

I don't know if there is anything in the videos that can confirm these guesses or narrow them down further.

I agree that Sympetrum pallipes is a reasonable possibility for the meadowhawk, but there may be other species of Aeshna that resemble your specimen. If a real expert on darners (which obviously I am not) could view your video, they might be able to narrow it down further,
