Looks like a kale. There are many, some ornamental, others edible.

I like the mint relative that is growing under/behind the kale, too. Nice purple tone to the upper leaves.

Diana, mint relative is Lamium purpureum, Purple Deadnettle. I'm sure many folks would be glad to let you have theirs.

The purple makes me think it might be Russian kale.
