Trying to figure out what this is. I have seen 1 or 2 a week, and i never see more than one at a time. I cannot figure out where they are coming from? Any idea?

This is a German cockroach, a very common household pest - http://www.magicexterminating.com/pests/German-Cockroach-121.asp
