Tom had it right- Heerden.

a woman at Fairchild Gardens in Miami identified my plant years ago as Heeden. i had her write the whole name down at the time because when she rattled it off, i knew i'd never remember it by the time i got home. i think even PF has it listed as Heeden.

Here is the page from PlantzAfrica, the South African National Biodiversity Institute's plant information website. It should be a very reliable and accurate resource:

a quick google search verified that it is indeed Heerden...if you page down, a Fairchild source is also listed.
the moral of this story is never underestimate TomH! LOL

thanks for setting me straight. https://www.google.com/webhp?sa=N&tab=lw#q=phyllis+van+heerden
