Palm Seedling ID?

London, United Kingdom

Hey there, my friend found a palm seed in Spain and I've managed to actually germinate it and start it's growing like crazy now and I was hoping someone might be able to help me ID the actual type of palm?

Thanks for your help!

Can anyone help? :)

Gold Coast, Australia

I'm afraid it would be terribly difficult to ID the palm at this early stage. Juvenile leaves are often much different from the leaves that form when the plants are older.

Contra Costa County, CA(Zone 9b)

Seedlings of palms often have that single pleated leaf.

What did the parent plants look like? Fan type of leaf or pinnate?

Look up pictures of date palms (Phoenix dactylifera).
Look up Mediterranean Fan Palm (Chamaerops humilis)
Canary Island Palm (Phoenix canariensis)
There are many other palms that can grow in Spain, too.
