Can you help ID?

Citrus Heights, CA

Found in California by Sierra City. Mixed conifer forest... Don't know much more about it. Appeared more around a little stream that was going down a hillside

I zoomed in on Sierra City, then looked at Perennials.
I am sure that is some kind of bulb (so a perennial). The problem is that most of the plants shown only show flowers; if leaves are shown they are the mature leaves as when the plant is in flower.

It is so young that the leaves may not be the same as it gets a bit older.
