It's a mole cricket, likely a northern mole cricket (Neocurtilla hexadactyla) - https://www.marylandbiodiversity.com/viewSpecies.php?species=8176
Their front legs are adapted for borrowing (fossorial; one of the five main types of insect legs) - https://thedragonflywoman.com/2010/12/10/insect-legs/
