Hi everyone -
I'm wondering if you can help me identify this tree. I think it's a type of Poinciana, but I'm not sure.
Poinciana tree? Identification help
The leaves look right, but the form is unusual. Poincianas I have known tend to grow into a rather flat topped shape. Also - are those blooms in the last picture?
They are some type of bloom, but I'm not sure what. I think they are just blooms of new leaves. The tree hasn't bloomed in color yet. It's only a few years old.
Leucaena leucocephala (which I think is what bobthescgardene really meant to say!)
