Why did I not think of this. 2 days after the earthquake I was in Tacoma, WA with a friend and she was in Nordstroms (spelling) looking to add to her china set.
She did not get her china as they had tons of china that was smashed to pieces from the earthquake, they had to shovel it out into the garbage.
Light bulbs went off in my head, would not all that smashed china make wonderful mosaics?
Next earthquake I am going to go looking for smashed china!
